Description:
We can manufacture mandrels and plugs from steel/carbide or integral tungsten carbide. The steel/carbide mandrels can be mechanically assembled or brazed together.
Applications:
Mandrels and plugs are used to form and size the inside diameter of tubes. These can be held in place using rods, which are usually threaded into the mandrel assembly. Other mandrels simply "float" in the tube and are held in place by a pulling process.
