Materials

Therefore, the user must select the material according to the actual application needs of the refrigeration compressor. The traditional choices are as follows:
1: Ductile cast iron
A. Ductile iron has yield and tensile strengths up to 600-900 MPa.
b. It is easy to produce crankshafts using ductile iron, especially because ductile iron is usually very cheap.
C. Ductile iron has excellent vibration damping, wear resistance, and no cracking.
2: Carbon Steel
A. High quality carbon steel is known for its strength and ability to meet normal demands. It costs less than alloy steel and has better ductility than ductile iron.
b. High quality carbon steel also has excellent plasticity, physical properties, chemical properties, and mechanical properties.
3: Alloy Steel
a. Alloy steel has better tensile strength, yield strength and ductility than ductile iron and high quality carbon.
b. Alloy steels also have outstanding strength and impact resistance. better physical, chemical and mechanical properties than high quality carbon steels.
